The strength and hardenability of 35Mn superior carbon steel are higher than 30Mn. The plasticity during cold deformation is medium and the machinability is good, but the weldability is poor. It should be used after conditioning. 35Mn steel is applicable to shafts, bolts, nuts, screws, mandrels, gears, etc., and also used to manufacture bolts, nuts, levers, etc. in medium-sized machinery.

Heat treatment specification: normalizing, 870℃; quenching, 850℃; tempering, 600℃.
Delivery status:
35Mn superior carbon steel shall be delivered without heat treatment or heat treatment (annealed, normalized or high temperature tempered). If it is required to be delivered in a heat-treated state, it should be indicated in the contract, and if it is not indicated, it will be delivered without heat treatment.
