2.25Cr-1Mo, 2.25Cr means that the content of Cr is about 2.25, that is, about 2250. Therefore, 1Mo means that the content of Mo is about 1, that is, about 1000. It is chromium molybdenum steel. 2.25Cr-1Mo steel is also known as SA387 Gr22 CL2 or A387 Gr22 CL2. 2.25Cr-1Mo steel is widely used in hot wall hydrogenation reactors, and has been in service for a long time under the harsh environment of high temperature (375-575), high pressure (6.9-28 MPa) and hydrogen (H2, H2S).
