SA516 Gr70 (HIC) is a kind of hydrogen sulfide corrosion resistant steel plate, which belongs to carbon steel plate for medium and low temperature pressure vessels.
Chemical composition of SA516 Gr70(HIC) hydrogen resistant steel plate:
C≤0.30, Mn: 0.79-1.30, P≤0.035, S: ≤0.035, Si: 0.13-0.45
Characteristics of SA516 Gr70(HIC) hydrogen resistant steel plate:
1. The SA516 Gr70(HIC) steel plate has low content of P and S, high purity and good resistance to wet hydrogen sulfide corrosion;
2. Good low temperature toughness, the SA516 Gr70(HIC) steel plate above 100mm can gurantee the transverse -30℃ impact at 1/2 of the thickness of the plate;
3. Hydrogen-induced cracking (HIC) performance test, the hydrogen-induced cracking (HIC) test method is in accordance with the NACE TM0284 standard or the GB8650 standard, and the average value of the three samples is: CLR≤10%, CSR≤3%, CTR≤1 %; CLR: percentage of crack length; CSR: percentage of crack sensitivity; CTR: percentage of crack thickness;
4. Excellent resistance to sulfide stress corrosion (SSCC) performance;
5. The hardness of the SA516 Gr70(HIC) steel plate surface is controllable, the product has good machinability, and it is easy to roll.
