SA285 GrC is a medium and low strength carbon steel plate for pressure vessels, belonging to the category of boiler steel plates.

Performance requirements for SA285 GrC carbon steel plate:
Yield point or yield strength ≥ 210Mpa
Tensile strength 385-515 Mpa
Elongation ≥ 27% (gauge length 50mm)

SA285 GrC carbon steel plate rolling process:
Rolling system: precision rolling reduction system. The total reduction rate of the last three passes is ≥ 40%, and the reduction rate of the finished pass is ≥ 10% (when the steel plate width is ≥ 2200mm or the thickness is ≥ 40mm or later roll production, the reduction rate of the finished pass is allowed to be 2.0%).

The SA285 series steel grades include: SA285 GrC, SA285 GrD, and SA285 GrE.

Delivery status of SA285 GrC boiler steel plates: generally hot rolled, controlled rolled, normalized, high-temperature tempered, etc; Flaw detection, Z15-Z35 thickness direction performance requirements, high strength and high toughness requirements may be put forward for the steel plates.
