The EU anti-dumping investigation on hot-rolled coils of iron, non alloy or other alloy steel

On April 5, 2022, the European Commission announced that it would conduct the first anti-dumping sunset review and investigation on hot-rolled coils of iron, non alloy or other alloy steel originating in China in response to the application submitted by the European Iron and Steel Association on behalf of EU hot-rolled coil manufacturers of iron, non alloy or other alloy steel on January 4, 2022. The EU CN (combined nomenclature) codes of the products involved are 7208 10 00, 7208 25 00, 7208 26 00, 7208 27 00, 7208 36 00, 7208 37 00, 7208 38 00, 7208 39 00, 7208 40 00, 7208 52 10, 7208 52 99, 7208 53 10, 7208 53 90, 7208 54 00, 7211 13 00, 7211 14 00, 7211 19 00, ex 7225 19 10 (Taric code 7225 19 10 90), 7225 30 90, ex 7225 40 60 (Taric code 7225 40 60 90), 7225 40 90 Ex 7226 19 10 (Taric codes 7226 19 10 91, 7226 19 10 95), 7226 91 91 and 7226 91 99. The dumping investigation period of this case is from January 1, 2021 to December 31, 2021, and the injury investigation period is from January 1, 2018 to the end of the dumping investigation period.

On February 13, 2016, the European Commission filed an anti-dumping investigation on hot-rolled coils of Huatie, non alloy or other alloy steel. On April 6, 2017, the European Commission made an affirmative final anti-dumping ruling on hot-rolled coils of iron, non alloy or other alloy steel originating in China.
