SA387 Gr11 Cl2 plate is an American standard chrome-molybdenum alloy steel plate, equivalent to grade 14Cr1MoR. SA387 Gr11 Cl2 pressure vessel steel plate has the properties of preventing hydrogen embrittlement, hydrogen corrosion, hydrogen stripping, sulfide corrosion in the hydrogen environment at medium temperature ( 350 - 480 ), and has good low temper embrittlement properties, and the requirements are also extremely high. SA387 Gr11 Cl2 steel plate is widely used in the manufacture of chemical fertilizers, petrochemicals and thermal power plant equipment, such as synthetic ammonia reactors, coal gasifiers, shift furnaces and hydrogenation reactors.
SA387 Gr11 Cl2 material is suitable for refining and gas treatment in hydrogenation reaction and conversion equipment at high temperature, and the maximum thickness of steel plate can reach 250mm thickness. According to the different thickness and impact requirements of the steel plate, the heat treatment of SA387 Gr11 Cl2 steel plate should be normalizing plus tempering or normalizing plus rapid cooling plus tempering.
