SA299 GrA boiler drum steel chemical composition and mechanical properties

SA299 GrA boiler drum steel is Cr-Mn-SI steel for boiler and pressure vessel plates in ASME standard.

SA299 GrA steelmaking process: The steel shall be killed and shall meet the fine grain size requirements of the A20/A20M standard.

Features of SA299 GrA steel plate: generally used for various welding parts with working temperature not exceeding 400℃, such as boiler drums, pressure vessels, etc., the steel is required to have high medium temperature strength, good plasticity, heat treatment process performance and welding process performance.

SA299 GrA boiler drum steel delivery status: normalized or hot rolled, generally more than 50mm should be delivered in normalized state.
