Among them, the output of crude steel in Asia was 102 million tons, an increase of 4.5% year-on-year; the output of crude steel in the European Union was 12.28 million tons, a decrease of 9.0% year-on-year; the output of crude steel in North America was 9.58 million tons, a decrease of 1.3% year-on-year; The output of crude steel in the Middle East was 3.6 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 22.9%. The output of crude steel in the CIS was 7.94 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 0.1%.
From the perspective of key countries and regions, China's crude steel output in February was 74.77 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 5.0%. India's crude steel output was 9.56 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 1.5%. Japan's crude steel output was 7.92 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 2.2%. Crude steel output in Italy was 2.05 million tons, up by 0.1% year-on-year. French crude steel output was 1.23 million tons, down 1.3% year-on-year. US crude steel output was 7.17 million tons, up 3.0% year-on-year. Brazil's crude steel output was 2.7 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 1.3%. Turkey's crude steel output was 2.85 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 8.2%. Ukraine's crude steel output was 1.71 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 1.2%.
