30CrNi3MoV steel is developed by alloying on the basis of the original Cr-Ni-Mo low-alloy ultra-high strength steel and adjusting the content of other alloying elements appropriately.
30CrNi3MoV armor steel is a new type of high-strength steel newly developed and put into use. It is mainly used as a structural material for the key components of a major weapon model. The main mechanical properties of 30CrNi3MoV high strength steel are: hardness HRC40-42, tensile strength is 1280MPa.

30CrNi3MoV (code 675) steel should be refined in an electric arc furnace with VHD or its equivalent outside the furnace. After negotiation between the supplier and the buyer, and note in the contract, other methods that can ensure the requirements of this specification can also be used for smelting.
