What is S355J2N-Z35 steel

S355J2 steel is a low-alloy high-strength steel, and the executive standard of S355J2 is the European standard: EN10025.

The meaning of S355J2N-Z35: J2 requires a negative 20-degree impact, N means that it is equivalent to normalizing rolling, not that it must be normalized. It is just a way to name the steel number in the standard. Z35 is the Z-direction performance of the steel plate.
