1. Preheating of steel plate is generally carried out before cutting, and the preheating temperature depends on the quality grade and thickness of steel plate. However, heat evenly.
2. Reduce the cutting speed properly, but its reliability is not as good as preheating. It is recommended to preheat the cavitation of the cutting belt with the flame gun several times before cutting, and the preheat temperature should reach about 180 °C.
3. No matter whether the cutting is not preheated or not, the slow cooling of the steel plate after cutting will effectively reduce the risk of cutting cracks. If the hot part is not piled up after cutting, it can also be cooled slowly by covering it with heat insulation blanket, which requires cooling to room temperature.
When cutting steel plates, we should pay attention to:
1. If automatic cutting is carried out, it shall be carried out according to the specified requirements, and the distance between the end of steel plate and guide rail shall be within 4mm. If it is semi-automatic cutting, the cutting nozzle, cutting speed and cutting straightness should be well controlled.
2. In case of gas cutting, the cutting nozzle shall be vertical to the cut surface. The whole section shall be cut through before normal gas cutting. Wait until the end of cutting, cutting speed should be slightly slowed down.
3. Whether it is automatic cutting or semi-automatic cutting, it is necessary to determine a reasonable amount of drag after cutting, and consider the cutting compensation.
4. Some process parameters in the cutting process should be determined according to the specific types of equipment and cutting materials, not blindly.
