1. If beryllium oxide is pressed into the steel plate during the heating process, some defects of the surface quality of the steel plate will be caused. At the same time, it may affect the subsequent service life of the steel plate, which is not conducive to the following processing.
2. If the heating temperature is too high or the heating time is not well controlled, the decarburization of steel plate may occur. That is to say, the carbon on the surface of the steel plate is burned completely or partially, which will make the surface of the steel plate have soft spot defects, greatly reduce the hardness of the steel plate, and the wear resistance of the steel plate will become poor.
3. In addition, the phenomenon of overheating and overburning occurs in the process of heating the steel plate. Overheating means that the temperature is too high, and overburning means that the heating time is too long, which will reduce the purchase of some related properties and make the surface of the steel plate brittle.
4. If the heating process of the steel plate is uneven inside and outside, the steel plate may have cracks, which will also have an impact on the subsequent processing.
5. In the process of heating, the steel plate may also have fracture in the cross section. This kind of defect has a great influence on the steel plate, and may affect some chemical properties and related physical properties of the steel plate. It will not be detrimental to the next cutting and heat treatment process.
