A537 CL1, A537 CL2, A537 CL3 steel plates for pressure vessels

A537 steel plates for pressure vessels are divided into three grades: A537 CL1, A537 CL2 and A537 CL3. Sometimes it is also written as SA537 CL1, SA537 CL2, SA537 CL3. SA is written in the ASME standard as S for ASME, A for ferrous metal, which is similar to ASTM.

A537 CL2 is a heat treated carbon manganese silicon steel plate for American standard pressure vessels, which is equivalent to Q345R (old brand 16MnR) in China.

A537 CL1, A537 CL2 and A537 CL3 vessel plates are mainly used in coal chemical industry, spherical tank boiler manufacturing, etc. It is widely used in petroleum, chemical industry, power station, boiler and other industries.
