What is the difference between 40Cr material and 35Cr steel?
The chemical composition of 40Cr material and 35Cr steel is different:
40Cr material chemical composition:
C: 0.37-0.44, Si: 0.17-0.37, Mn: 0.50-0.80, Cr: 0.80-1.10.
Chemical composition of 35Cr steel:
C: 0.32-0.39, Si: 0.17-0.37, Mn: 0.50-0.80, Cr: 0.80-1.10.
The mechanical properties of 40Cr material and 35Cr steel are different:
Mechanical properties of 40Cr material:
Tensile strength: ≥980mpa; yield strength: ≥785MPa; elongation after fracture: ≥9%; elongation after fracture: ≥45%; impact absorption energy: ≥47J.
Mechanical properties 35Cr steel:
Tensile strength: ≥930mpa, yield strength: ≥735mpa, elongation after fracture: ≥11%, elongation after fracture: ≥45%, impact absorption energy: ≥47J.
