What is galvanized sheet? We can understand it literally. Galvanized sheet is a steel plate with a layer of zinc on its surface. This is to avoid corrosion on the surface of the steel plate and extend its conventional service life. Galvanizing the surface of metal and steel is an economic and useful anti-corrosion method, which is used for about half of the output value of zinc in the world.
So, what are the classifications of galvanized sheet?
1. Hot dip galvanized plate. A sheet of steel immersed in a molten zinc bath so that its surface adheres to a layer of zinc. At present, continuous galvanizing technology is the primary choice for production, that is, the rolled steel plate is continuously immersed in the molten zinc plating bath to make galvanized plate;
2. Alloy galvanized sheet. This kind of steel plate is also made by hot-dip method, but when it is out of the groove, it is heated to about 500 ℃ immediately, so that the alloy film of zinc and iron is formed. This kind of galvanized sheet has excellent adhesion and weldability of coating;
3. Electro galvanized sheet. This kind of galvanized sheet has excellent processability. However, the coating is thin, so the corrosion resistance ability is not as good as that of hot dip galvanized sheet;
4. Single side plating and double side difference galvanizing plate. Single side galvanized sheet, that is, only one side galvanized products. In welding, coating, antirust treatment, processing and other aspects, it has better adaptability than double-sided galvanized sheet.
In order to overcome the defect of one side not coated with zinc, there is another kind of galvanized sheet coated with thin layer zinc on the other side;
5. Alloy, composite galvanized sheet. It is made of zinc and other metals, such as aluminum, lead, zinc, etc. alloy or even composite plated steel plate. This kind of steel plate not only has the outstanding antirust function, but also has the outstanding coating function;
