Q235B steel plate is a kind of Fe-C alloy based on wear-resistant welding wire and carbon. Iron carbon alloy with carbon content less than 2.11% is called steel. Other main elements include silicon, manganese, sulfur, phosphorus, etc. It has excellent physics, mechanical equipment and performance, which can be shown in the following six aspects:
1. Yield limit (σs)
The local stress of Q235B steel plate or specimen exceeds the ductility limit when it is pulled. Even if the in-situ stress does not increase, the Q235B steel plate or specimen still produces significant plastic deformation again, which is called compromise, and the less in-situ stress resulting in compromise is the yield limit.
2. Tensile strength (σ0.2)
In order to better consider the compromise characteristics of raw materials, it is required to cause permanent residual plastic deformation equivalent to a certain value of in-situ stress, which is called standard tensile strength or tensile strength σ 0.2.
3. Compressive strength (σb)
In the whole process of welding rod pulling, the larger in-situ stress value should be achieved from the beginning to fracture. It shows the working ability of Q235B steel plate to resist fracture. There are tensile strength, tensile strength and so on.
4. Elongation (δs)
The elongation or tensile strength is the percentage of the length of the plastic deformation extension of Q235B steel plate to the length of the original specimen.
5. Yield strength ratio (σs / σb)
The ratio of yield limit to compressive strength of Q235B steel plate is called yield strength ratio. The higher the yield ratio, the higher the stability of structural parts. The yield ratio of general alloy steel is 0.6-0.65, low alloy tool steel is 0.65-0.75, and alloy tool steel is 0.84-0.86.
6. Intensity
Strength indicates the ability of raw materials to resist hard objects pressing into the surface. It is one of the key performance parameters of metal composites. Generally, the higher the strength, the better the wear resistance. The common strength index values are tensile strength, Rockwell hardness and Brinell hardness.
