What are the differences between cold rolled sheet and galvanized sheet?

1. Different production methods

Cold rolled sheet is a product made by rolling hot rolled coils at room temperature below the recrystallization temperature. Galvanized sheet refers to a steel sheet coated with a layer of zinc on the surface. Galvanizing is an economical and effective anti-rust method that is often used. About half of the world's zinc output is used in this process.

2. Application is different

Cold rolled sheets are mostly used in automobile manufacturing and electrical products. Cold rolling is rolling at the recrystallization temperature, but it is generally understood as rolling using normal temperature rolled materials.

Galvanized steel sheet and strip products are mainly used in construction, light industry, automobile, agriculture, animal husbandry and fishery and commerce industries. Among them, the construction industry is mainly used to manufacture anti-corrosion industrial and civil building roof panels, roof grilles, etc.; agriculture, animal husbandry and fishery are mainly used as food storage and transportation, meat and aquatic products refrigeration processing tools. The business application is mainly used as material storage transportation, packaging equipment, etc.
