TB/T 1979 steel plate introduction: TB/T 1979 steel plate is a kind of atmospheric corrosion resisting steel for railway rolling stock. There are six steel grades under TB/T 1979 standard: 08CuPVRE, 05CuPCrNi, 09CuPCrNi-A, 09CuPCrNi-B, 09CuPTiRE-A, 09CuPTiRE-B steel. TB/T 1979 steel plate is delivered in hot rolled or annealing after hot rolled condition. TB/T 1979 steel is also knows as Corten steel as it is atmospheric corrosion resistant steel. Due to its various features, this kind of steel is useful in various applications. TB/T 1979 steel plates are manufactured by using hot rolled and cold rolled process.
