Introduction of shipbuilding and offshore platform steel plate:
Shipbuilding and offshore platform steel plate refers to the hot rolled steel plate produced in accordance with the requirements of classification society's construction specifications for the manufacture of ship structure. According to the minimum yield point, the shipbuilding and offshore platform steel plate is divided into general strength shipbuilding steel plate and high strength shipbuilding steel plate.

The general strength shipbuilding steel plate is divided into four grades A, B, D and E. The yield strength (not less than 235 MPA) and the tensile strength (400-520 MPA) of these four grades are the same, but their impact energy at different temperatures is different.

According to the minimum yield strength of high strength shipbuilding steel plate, each strength grade is divided into A, D, E and F according to its impact toughness. A, D, E and F respectively represent the impact toughness they can achieve under the conditions of 0 °, - 20 °, - 40 °, - 60 ° respectively:
The yield strength of AH32, DH32, EH32 and FH32 shall not be less than 315 MPA, and the tensile strength shall be 440-570 MPA.
The yield strength of AH36, DH36, EH36 and FH36 is not less than 355 MPA, and the tensile strength is 490-620 MPA.
The yield strength of AH40, DH40, EH40 and FH40 shall not be less than 390 MPA, and the tensile strength shall be 510-660 MPA.

Shipbuilding and offshore platform steel plate refers to the thin steel plate and thick steel plate produced with special structural steel for shipbuilding and used to manufacture the hull structure of ocean going, coastal and inland navigation ships. Shipbuilding and offshore platform steel plate is required to have certain strength, toughness, low temperature and corrosion resistance, and good welding performance.
