Technical parameters of 4Cr3Mo3SiV steel plate (tool steel)

4Cr3Mo3SiV tool steel has good hardenability, toughness and high temperature hardness. It is hot work die steel, belonging to alloy tool steel.

Properties of 4Cr3Mo3SiV tool steel:
4Cr3Mo3SiV alloy tool steel can replace 3Cr2W8V steel to make hot stamping die, hot forging die, hot rolling die and plastic pressing die. Its properties and service life are higher than that of 3Cr2W8V steel. The strength is slightly higher than that of 20CrMnSi steel, but the toughness is slightly poor. After heat treatment, a good combination of strength, toughness and plasticity can be obtained. 4Cr3Mo3SiV steel can be used interchangeably with the corresponding chromium molybdenum steel under appropriate conditions.

4Cr3Mo3SiV steel heat treatment regulations:
Quenching 880 ℃, oil cooling; Temper at 480 ℃, water cooling and oil cooling.
