Iranian steel annual export volume increased by 22% year-on-year

According to the latest report of the Iran Iron and Steel Manufacturers Association, Iran's calendar year (March 21, 2019 to March 20, 2020) steel exports were 10.36 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 22.2%.

Among them, semi-finished steel exports were 6.9 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 26%, accounting for 66.7% of total steel exports. Square billets and billets accounted for the largest proportion of semi-finished steel exports, with exports of 4.83 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 24%.

The export volume of finished steel products was 3.45 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 16%.
