Hyundai Steel considers reducing the production of hot rolled steel coil

South Korea's Hyundai Steel recently announced that it will regularly maintain line A of its hot rolled steel coil production line in Tangjin from April 20, and said it is considering reducing the production of hot rolled steel coil.

Hyundai Steel plans to carry out regular maintenance of the hot rolled steel coil production line for three to five days, which is expected to reduce the output by about 13000 tons. According to people familiar with the matter, the regular maintenance has nothing to do with the rumored closure in the market.
