Effect of smelting process on welding performance of 12MnNiVR steel plate:
Based on the production and smelting process, different alloy addition methods and processes are studied. By adjusting the addition sequence and timing of various combinations, the influence of smelting process on the quantity, size and type of inclusions in steel is analyzed to explore the mechanism of smelting process on high heat input welding performance. The steel plate produced by the new smelting process has a large number of small size inclusions, and a large number of inclusions in the steel have an obvious effect on pinning austenite grain growth; The inclusion mainly contains T kryptide or oxide, and also contains MnS; HAZ toughness is much higher than that of steel plate produced by traditional process after welding heat cycle with large heat input.
