1. The substrate is different.
The cold rolled sheet metal is a product obtained by cold pressing hot rolled sheet metal. Due to multi-pass cold rolling, its surface quality is superior to that of hot rolled thin plates, and after heat treatment, good mechanical properties can be obtained.
2. Different physical properties.
Hot dip galvanized steel sheet is more resistant to corrosion than cold rolled steel sheet. The characteristics of hot dip galvanized steel plate are strong corrosion resistance, good surface quality, convenient for deep processing, and economic and practical. The drawing performance of hot dip galvanized steel sheet is not as reliable as that of cold rolled steel sheet. Hot dip galvanized steel sheets are not as easy to weld as cold rolled steel sheets, and the zinc layer is damaged during welding.
3. The physical characteristics of the surface are different.
One is galvanized white, and the other is black. The hardness is about the same, and the difference in usability is relatively large. Generally, galvanized steel sheets are no longer treated after processing, because the base surface has good oxidation resistance, while cold rolled steel sheets are not. It is also necessary to properly paint the surface, otherwise it will oxidize.
4. Different processes.
Due to the absence of heating during the production of cold rolled sheets, there are no defects such as pits and iron oxide scales that often occur during hot rolling, with good surface quality and high smoothness. Moreover, the dimensional accuracy of cold rolled products is high, and the performance and structure of the products can meet some special requirements for use, such as electromagnetic performance, deep drawing performance, etc. Galvanized sheet refers to a steel plate coated with a layer of zinc on its surface. Zinc plating is an economical and effective rust prevention method often used, and about half of the world's zinc production is used in this process.
