08Ni3DR steel plate delivery status and characteristics

08Ni3DR steel plate introduction: 08Ni3DR steel plate is used for ultra-low temperature vessel, which is used to manufacture LNG storage tank and ultra-low temperature vessel steel plate of LNG ship for storage and transportation of LNG. Among them, 08 refers to the nominal carbon content of 0.08% in the steel plate, Ni3 refers to the nominal Ni content of 3% in the steel plate, and the actual content is 3.25%~3.70%.

Delivery status: 08Ni3DR steel plate is delivered in the state of offline quenching+tempering. In order to improve the toughness of steel, intermediate heat treatment (secondary quenching) can also be carried out. Steel plates with a thickness of no more than 12mm can also be delivered in the normalized and tempered state twice. The tempering temperature of steel plates is not lower than 540.
