What should be paid attention to when welding hot rolled steel plate?

The welding of hot rolled steel plate is not so simple, it must meet certain operation requirements
1. Welding power supply: special DC power supply and inverter power supply are adopted.
2. Direct current should be used to connect the positive pole of hot-rolled steel plate power supply, and the welding gun should be connected to the negative pole of power supply. Polarity reversal, easy to spatter, shallow melting depth, unable to weld.
3. When the angle is downward welding hot-rolled steel plate, it is generally required that the hot-rolled steel plate and the workpiece should be kept at 1000-1320 mm, so as to avoid the downward flow of molten slag and hot metal near the vertical position, which will affect the smooth operation of welding, and easily lead to slag inclusion and porosity and other defects.

4. The surface to be welded shall be uniform and smooth without rust, slag scale, grease and other harmful substances affecting the welding quality.
5. The welding ground wire should be close to the welding area as far as possible, and the good conductivity should be confirmed. If the conductivity is not good, the arc will be unstable.
