42SiMn steel belongs to alloy quenched and tempered steel with good properties, high strength, wear resistance and hardenability. Under certain conditions, the strength, wear resistance and hot working performance of 42SiMn steel are better than 40Cr, and it can be used instead of 40CrNi.
