What material is 37SiMn2MoV steel?
37SiMn2MoV steel is a high-grade quenched and tempered steel, which has excellent comprehensive mechanical properties, good heat treatment process, good hardenability, low sensitivity to quenching crack, high resistance to tempering, very low temper brittleness, good high temperature strength and low temperature toughness. 37SiMn2MoV steel is generally used in quenched and tempered condition.

37SiMn2MoV steel chemical composition:
C: 0.33-0.39, Si: 0.60-0.90, Mn: 1.60-1.90, Mo: 0.40-0.50, V: 0.05-0.12.

After quenching and tempering, 37SiMn2MoV steel can be used to manufacture heavy-duty and large cross-section important parts, such as gears, shafts, connecting rods, rotors, high-pressure seamless steel pipes, high-pressure vessels and large bolts used in petrochemical industry. After quenching and tempering at low temperature, 37SiMn2MoV steel can be used as ultra-high strength steel, instead of 35CrMo and 40CrNiMo steel.
