Application: Atmospheric corrosion-resistant steel for railway vehicles
Standard: TB / T 1979-2014
09CuPCrNi-A steel is a high-strength corrosion-resistant steel plate. Reasons for corrosion resistance: Corrosion-resistant structural steel is a small amount of alloying elements such as Cu, P, Cr, Ni, and so on. It can form a dense, good adhesion amorphous oxide protective film on the surface of the metal substrate, so that the corrosion process of the steel can hardly proceed. The longer the time, the denser the protective film, the more obvious the corrosion resistance, High resistance to atmospheric corrosion, it is better than general bare metal structural steel. In the initial stage of corrosion of weathering steel, the rust layer on the surface is denser than carbon steel, and there are relatively few cracks and holes; after 25 years, the carbon steel and weathering steel have partially delaminated, and there is no difference in corrosion products. The difference is mainly the alloy elements in the rust layer. Role. The rust layer of the weathering steel has the precipitation of Cu and Cr alloy elements, which can be gathered in the cracks to resist the intrusion of water vapor and harmful ions in the atmosphere and prevent the base metal from further corrosion.
