For low carbon steel, the welding temperature is controlled at 1250 ~ 1460 ℃, which can meet the requirements of 3 ~ 5mm pipe wall thickness. In addition, the welding temperature can also be achieved by adjusting the welding speed. When the input heat is insufficient, the edge of the heated weld cannot reach the welding temperature, and the metal structure remains solid, forming incomplete fusion or incomplete penetration; when the input heat is insufficient, the edge of the heated weld exceeds the welding temperature, resulting in over burning or droplet, forming the weld hole.
When the two edges of the 3mm Q235B steel plate are heated to the welding temperature, under the extrusion of the extrusion roller, the common metal grains penetrate and crystallize with each other, and finally a solid weld is formed. If the extrusion pressure is too small, the number of common crystals will be small.
If the extrusion pressure is too large, the molten metal will be extruded out of the weld, which not only reduces the weld strength, but also produces a lot of internal and external burrs, and even causes defects such as weld overlap.
The quality of the final welding will also be affected by the correct assembly of the electric fusion pipe fittings and the 3mm Q235B steel plate pipes or pipe fittings to be welded. In addition, whether the storage conditions of the electrofusion pipe before welding meet the standards and whether the cooling process after welding is proper are the factors that affect the welding quality of the 3mm Q235B steel plate.
