(1) Forging and rolling: the initial forging temperature is 1180-1145℃, the final forging temperature is greater than 850℃, and the forging is cooled.
(2) Cold and hot processing: small diameter 12Cr1MoVG steel tube can be cold-bent, no heat treatment is required after bending.
Large diameter thin-walled pipe can be cold-bent, after bending, need to do high temperature tempering heat treatment.
Large diameter thick wall pipe should be hot-bent. The heating temperature of hot-bent pipe is 980℃, and the final bending temperature is & GT;
800℃, bending after the normalizing and tempering heat treatment.
(3) Heat treatment: The finished 12Cr1MoVG steel tube should be subjected to normalizing + tempering heat treatment. The heat treatment specification is sensitive to the influence of the steel performance.
The recommended normalizing temperature is 980-1020℃, and the holding time is 1 minute per mm according to the wall thickness, but not less than 20 minutes;
Tempering temperature 720-760℃, holding time more than 2 hours.
When the wall thickness is greater than 30mm to 40mm, forced cooling shall be carried out;
When the wall thickness is greater than 40mm, it should be tempered.
Quenching temperature 950-990℃, tempering temperature 720-760℃, holding time more than 2 hours.
Hot rolling can replace normalizing when the final rolling temperature of steel pipe is 980-1020℃.
The normal structure of the finished 12Cr1MoVG steel tube after heat treatment is ferrite + pearlite + Bainite. The yellow block martensite, an interphase product that is not allowed to exist, will occur when the tempering temperature is too high after normalization, and the low tempering temperature is prone to embrittlement.
