No obvious temper brittleness, medium cutting performance, poor cold deformation plasticity and weldability. It is sensitive to the formation of white spots and should be cooled slowly after forging. Such as shaft parts, butt joints, gears, etc.
30CrNi3Mo steel plate is martensite after quenching; It is tempered sorbite after quenching and high temperature tempering.
Quenching: after the steel plate is heated and kept warm, it is cooled rapidly in the medium of water, fire and other inorganic salts.
Tempering: keep the steel plate at a suitable temperature for a long time and cool it down.
