What is the J55 oil casing tube standard?

J55 oil casing tube is an important equipment for oil drilling. Its main equipment also includes drill pipes, core pipes and casings, drill collars, and small-diameter drilling steel pipes. Domestic casing is made of geological drilling steel through hot rolling or cold drawing. The steel grade is indicated by "geology" (DZ). The commonly used casing steel grades are DZ40, DZ55, DZ753. According to SY/T6194-96 "Petroleum Casing", it is divided into short threaded casing and its coupling and long threaded casing and its coupling. Mainly used for oil well drilling.

J55 oil casing tube quality standard

(1) J55 oil casing tube is in accordance with SY/T6194-96, the length of casing is variable, and its range is 8-13m. However, casing pipes no shorter than 6m can be provided, and the quantity shall not exceed 20%.

(2) The inner and outer surfaces of the J55 oil casing tube shall not have folds, hair lines, delamination, cracks, creasing and scarring

(3) The outer surface of the coupling shall not have defects such as folding, hairline, delamination, cracks, creasing, and scarring.

(4) The thread surface of J55 oil casing tube and coupling should be smooth, and no burrs, tears and other defects that are sufficient to interrupt the thread and affect the strength and tight connection are not allowed.
