What is the difference between 25Cr2MoVA and 35CrMo steel material
The chemical constituents of 25Cr2MoVA and 35CrMo steel material are different:
Chemical constituents of 25Cr2MoVA steel material:
C 0.22-0.29, Si 0.17-0.37, Mn 0.40-0.70, Cr 1.50-1.80, Mo 0.25-0.35, V 0.15-0.30.
Chemical constituents of 35CrMo steel material:
C 0.32-0.40, Si 0.17-0.37, Mn 0.40-0.70, Cr 0.80-1.10, Mo 0.15-0.25.
The mechanical properties of 25Cr2MoVA and 35CrMo steel material are different:
Mechanical properties of 25Cr2MoVA steel material: tensile strength ≥ 930 MPa, yield strength ≥ 785 MPa, elongation after fracture ≥ 14%, shrinkage after fracture ≥ 55%, impact absorption energy ≥ 63J.
Mechanical properties of 35CrMo steel material: tensile strength ≥ 980 MPa, yield strength ≥ 835 MPa, elongation after fracture ≥ 12%, shrinkage after fracture ≥ 45%, impact absorption energy ≥ 63J.
