Characteristics and application differences between 12Cr1MoVG and 15CrMoG boiler steel:
12Cr1MoVG steel has the characteristics of similar creep and creep rupture strength. It has high plasticity in the process of tensile stress rupture. 12Cr1MoVG steel is usually used after normalizing and high temperature tempering.
12Cr1MoVG boiler steel is used to manufacture superheated steel pipes, pipes, radiator tubes and related forgings in high pressure equipment with working temperature not exceeding 570-585℃.
15CrMoG steel belongs to pearlitic heat-resistant steel. Under 500-550℃, it has high endurance strength, good machinability and cold strain plasticity, and acceptable weldability. 15CrMoG boiler steel is generally used in normalizing and high-temperature tempering conditions.
15CrMoG boiler steel can be used to manufacture boiler superheater, medium and high pressure steam pipe and header, and main steam pipe with steam temperature of 510℃. After quenching and tempering, 15CrMoG boiler steel can be used to manufacture various parts working at normal temperature.
