What is the application range of Q235 carbon structural steel?

Q235 is ordinary carbon structural steel, also known as A3 steel. It has four quality levels: Grade A, B, C and D. Q means the yield strength of this type of material. The 235 at the back refers to the strength value of this type of material, which is around 235MPa. As the thickness of the material increases, its yield value decreases, because the carbon content is moderate, the comprehensive type performance is good, the compressive strength, plastic deformation, and electric welding characteristics are well matched, and the applications are more extensive.

Uses of q235 ordinary carbon structural steel:

1.Many applications are used in construction and project construction. It is used to make building steel bars or to build industrial plant frames, high-voltage power transmission towers, road bridges, cars, heating furnaces, utensils, ships, etc., and many are also used as mechanical parts with low characteristics. C and D grade steel can also be used for some technical and professional steel applications.

2.It can be used for various abrasive door handles and other unimportant mold parts.

3.Use q235 steel as the raw material for the punching pin, and use it immediately without quenching after heat treatment. The strength is 36-40HRC, which solves the problem of the punching pin rupture in the application.
