Q355GNH weathering steel has been widely used in containers, railway vehicles, bridges, buildings and air preheaters which need to be resistant to atmospheric corrosion.

Q355GNH weathering steel pipe is characterized by the addition of less Cu, P, Cr, Ni and other alloy elements in the steel, so that a dense amorphous spinel type oxide layer with a thickness of about 50-100μm is formed between the rust layer and the base metal, which can prevent oxygen and water from penetrating into the steel and iron matrix in the atmosphere, slow down the development of corrosion into the steel and iron materials, and improve the atmospheric corrosion resistance of the steel materials.
