Definition of thin steel plate: steel plate with thickness less than or equal to 4mm.
The types of thin steel plate are divided into two categories: ordinary thin steel plate and high-quality thin steel plate according to different materials; hot rolling and cold rolling according to different processing methods of sheet steel.
Classification of hot rolled thin steel plate:
Hot rolled thin steel plate can be divided into common steel sheet, acid pickling steel sheet, roof panel, oil barrel plate, checkered steel sheet, shipbuilding steel sheet and automobile steel sheet according to different purposes.
1. Hot rolled common thin steel plate
Main use: it is mainly used for manufacturing products with low surface quality requirements and no need of deep drawing, such as ventilation pipes, mechanical casings, switch boxes, filing cabinets, etc., which are also commonly used as blanks for welded pipes and cold-formed section steel.
2. Pickling thin steel plate
Pickling thin steel plate is made of low carbon steel by annealing and pickling. After annealing and pickling treatment, the oxide layer on the surface is removed to make the surface bright white, and the stamping performance is improved to some extent. This kind of steel plate is suitable for manufacturing products with good surface quality and low strength requirements.
According to the surface quality of pickling steel sheet, it can be divided into two groups: group I and group II; according to the cupping depth, it can be divided into two levels: ordinary and deep drawing.
Main use: mainly suitable for noise shell, flashlight shell, instrument shell, light port, car brake drum, etc.
Specification and size of steel plate: the thickness is 0.25-2mm.
