17-4PH alloy is a deposited, hardened, martensitic stainless steel composed of copper and niobium/columb. This grade has the characteristics of high strength, hardness and corrosion resistance. After heat treatment, the mechanical properties of the product are more perfect and can reach a compressive strength of up to 1100-1300 mpa (160-190 ksi).
It has outstanding corrosion resistance to the atmosphere and diluted acid or salt. Its corrosion resistance is the same as 304 and 430. The chemical composition of 17-4PH steel: 17-4ph is a kind of American stainless steel.
There are two conditions in the steel data manual, casting and forging, and generally require three heat treatment processes for homogenization-solution treatment-aging temperature to determine the strength of the final data. If the three heat treatments still fail to meet the requirements, then solidify treatment Do it again and then aging.
17-4PH steel is a martensitic precipitation hardening stainless steel. The function of 17-4PH is that it is easy to adjust the strength level, which can be adjusted by changing the heat treatment process. Martensitic transformation and aging treatment to form the deposition hardening phase are the main strengthening methods. The 17-4PH attenuation function is good, and the corrosion fatigue resistance and water droplet resistance are strong.
