Differences and requirements between straight seam welded pipe and spiral pipe
General welded pipe is used to convey low pressure fluid. Made of Q235A, Q235B, Q345B steel. It can also be made of other soft steels that are easy to weld. Steel pipes are subjected to experiments such as hydraulic pressure, bending, and flattening, and have certain requirements on surface quality. Usually, the length of delivery is 4-10m, and fixed-length (or double-foot) delivery is often required. The specifications of the welded pipe are expressed by the nominal caliber (mm or inch). The nominal caliber is different from the actual. Welded pipe has two types: ordinary steel pipe and thick steel pipe. The steel pipe is divided into threaded and non-threaded according to the end of the pipe.
The strength of spiral pipe is generally higher than that of straight seam welded pipe. Welding pipes with a larger diameter can be produced from narrower billets. Welding pipes with different diameters can also be produced from billets of the same width. However, compared with straight seam pipes of the same length, the weld seam length is increased by 30 to 100%, and the production speed is lower. Therefore, the smaller-diameter welded pipes are mostly straight seam welded, and the large-diameter welded pipes are mostly spiral welded.
GB / T3091-1993 (galvanized welded steel pipe for low-pressure fluid transportation). It is mainly used to transport water, gas, air, oil, and generally lower pressure fluids such as heating hot water or steam and other purposes. Its representative material is Q235A grade steel.
GB / T3092-1993 (galvanized welded steel pipe for low-pressure fluid transportation). It is mainly used to transport water, gas, air, oil, and generally lower pressure fluids such as hot water or steam and other purposes. Its representative material is: Q235A grade steel.
The difference and requirements of spiral seam welded pipe GB / T14291-1992 (mineral fluid transport welded steel pipe). It is mainly used for straight seam welded steel pipes for mine pressure, drainage and shaft gas discharge. It represents the material Q235A, B grade steel. GB / T14980-1994 (Large diameter electric welded steel pipe for low pressure fluid transportation). Mainly used for conveying low-pressure fluids such as water, sewage, gas, air, heating steam and other purposes. Its representative material is Q235A grade steel.
GB / T12770-1991 (stainless steel welded steel pipe for mechanical structure). Mainly used in machinery, automobiles, bicycles, furniture, hotel and restaurant decoration and other mechanical parts and structural parts. Its representative materials are 0Cr13, 1Cr17, 00Cr19Ni11, 1Cr18Ni9, 0Cr18Ni11Nb and so on.
GB / T12771-1991 (stainless steel welded steel pipe for fluid transportation). Mainly used to transport low-pressure corrosive media. Representative materials are 0Cr13, 0Cr19Ni9, 00Cr19Ni11, 00Cr17, 0Cr18Ni11Nb, 0017Cr17Ni14Mo2 and so on.
