Q215A steel has low carbon and manganese content. Its strength is a little higher than Q195 steel. Meanwhile, Q215A steel has good plasticity, good toughness, weldability and process properties. Q215A steel is mainly used in plant building, bridge components, tower, derrick, vehicle and ship manufacturing components.

There is almost no Q215A steel stock on the market. The most adequate carbon structural steel stock on the market is Q235 steel, whose price is relatively cheap.
