What are the advantages and disadvantages of weathering steel plate?

However, everything always has two sides, as well as advantages and disadvantages.

Advantages: weathering steel plates are used in the manufacture of vehicles, bridges, water towers, steel containers and other low alloy structural steels. Compared with carbon steel, it has excellent corrosion resistance in atmosphere. Compared with stainless steel, only trace alloying elements, such as the total amount of phosphorus, copper, chromium, nickel, molybdenum, niobium, vanadium, titanium, etc. of weathering steel plate are only a few percent, such as stainless steel, so the price is relatively cheap.

Disadvantages: weathering steel plate needs to be treated with anti rust and various patterns and colors, which are more delicate and troublesome to handle. There are many processing technologies which are not cheap. They are suitable for large-scale buildings, medium and small-scale buildings and can not cover this type better!
