Advantages

Disadvantages
1. The hardness of carbon steel will be poor, because when the temperature of the tool is more than two Baidu, its hardness and wear resistance will drop sharply.
2. The hardenability of carbon steel is very low. The diameter of complete hardenability is generally about 15-18 mm when quenching in water, while the diameter or thickness is only about 6 mm when not quenching, so it is easy to deform and crack.
