The surface quality of SM570 steel plate mainly refers to its surface smoothness and surface defects, which is one of the main quality indexes of SM570 steel plate. Good process measures are helpful to improve the surface quality of SM570 steel plate.
1. Taking on-line slab surface quality inspection measures, the continuous casting slab surface defects can be found in time, and the defective slab can be cleaned purposefully, so as to avoid the surface quality problems of SM570 steel plate caused by slab surface defects.
2. The furnace adopts mature and advanced control model to automatically and accurately control furnace temperature, furnace atmosphere and heating time, so as to reduce the oxidation and burning loss of slab.
3. The descaling pressure, flow rate and spray distance of descaling header were optimized to achieve higher impact force and ensure more effective removal of primary scale on slab surface.
4. The secondary scale can be effectively restrained by adopting intermediate cooling measures to shorten the holding time of intermediate billet during TMCP rolling.
5. The descaling measures before straightening are implemented to remove the fine scale on the surface of the rolled SM570 steel plate, avoid the scale sticking on the straightening roll, and improve the surface quality of the SM570 steel plate.
6. Using on-line steel plate surface quality detection measures, the SM570 steel plate surface quality defects can be found in time to avoid the recurrence of surface quality defects, and improve the proportion of non defect steel plate.
