1. Distinguish according to carbon content
The carbon content of hot rolled steel sheet is slightly higher than that of cold rolled steel sheet. The relative density is the same when the compositional stalemate is not large. But if the composition is too different, for example, the relative density of the stainless steel plate, whether cold rolled or hot rolled steel plate, will be up and down 7.9g/cm3. In fact, it also depends on the composition. Hot-rolled steel plates are only more malleable, and stainless steel plates suffer from working pressure effects.
2. Distinguish according to relative density
Hot-rolled steel plates are divided into alloy structural steel, high-carbon steel, and welded steel, and then search for the stainless steel plates you need based on various stainless steel plates, and check the relative density and composition of the special stainless steel plates.
The hot-rolled steel sheet has low strength, easy production and processing, and good plasticity. The process performance of the hot-rolled steel plate is poor (air oxidation and low smoothness), but the plastic deformation is good. Generally, it is medium and thick plate, cold-rolled steel plate, high compressive strength, high strength, high surface smoothness, and generally thin metal plate. Used as a stamping die plate.
The cold-rolled steel sheet has high strength and relatively difficult production and processing, but it is not easy to deform and has high compressive strength.
