The water storage tank is used to store industrial water or domestic water. The water storage tank is composed of water tank body, water tank support seat, inlet and outlet pipes and manhole. The water tank support seat is set at the bottom of the water tank body, and the manhole is set at the top of the water tank body. The water tank body is a hollow closed cavity. After the vertical water storage tank is manufactured and installed, the tightness, stability and strength tests need to be carried out. The main parts of the test are the top and wall of the water storage tank.
Tightness, stability and strength test on the top of vertical water storage tank: when the water level in the water storage tank reaches 1 m below the designed maximum liquid level, slowly water filling and pressure test shall be conducted. When it reaches the test positive pressure, the tank top is qualified if there is no abnormal deformation and no weld leakage. The stability test of water storage tank top is carried out after the water level reaches the design maximum level. When the design negative pressure is reached, the tank top is qualified if there is no abnormal deformation. After the above tests, return to normal pressure to make the top of the water storage tank connect with atmospheric pressure.
Tightness and strength test of vertical water storage tank wall: if the water filling height of the tank reaches the maximum level and remains for 48 hours, the tank wall is qualified without leakage and abnormal deformation.
