How to adjust the surface roughness of galvanized sheet?

The surface roughness of galvanized sheet mainly affects the adhesion and other properties of the coating. For different products, the requirements for roughness are different. The surface roughness of galvanized sheet used for automobile shell is required to be higher, which is generally required to reach ra1.5 μM. as a color coated sheet, the product of home appliance board requires a lower roughness, which is generally required to reach ra1.5 μM.

When the finishing machine runs stably, the surface roughness of galvanized sheet mainly depends on the roughness of work roll, which can reach about 60% of the surface roughness of work roll. After the new work roll is put into use, with the extension of time, the surface roughness of the roll will be reduced due to wear. Therefore, when the production is arranged, the products with higher roughness requirements can be produced, and the products with lower roughness requirements can be produced when the wear reaches a certain degree.

The suitable surface roughness of work roll is usually obtained by sand blasting, corrosion and electrolithography.
