What is the density of galvanized sheet?

The thickest zinc coating is 80g per square meter, with 160g on both sides. The most common zinc coating is 50g, with 100g on both sides.

The density of galvanized sheet is 7.85t/m3, that is to say, 1.0mm thick sheet weighs 7.85kg per square meter, 0.75mm thick sheet weighs 5.8875kg per square meter.

For example, 1 mm thick galvanized plate, the plate weight is 7.85 kg, the weight of galvanized layer is 2 × 0.05 kg, and the weight per square meter is 7.95 kg. Other specifications are also calculated.

The weight of galvanized sheet is slightly heavier than that of ordinary iron sheet, and the price will be different with different coating thickness.
